Unwind in the sitting area and cosy up to the woodburning stove and switch on the TV for some evening entertainment. The charming kitchen is situated along one wall, making great use of the space, and hosting a plethora of useful appliances, perfect for the chef of the group to create lots of tasty dishes, the kitchen also includes a handy dishwasher. As the day draws to a close, venture down the steps to find two thoughtfully laid-out bedrooms, one being a delightful double room showcasing an iron bed frame and the other being a twin room; both bedrooms feature handy built-in storage for your belongings. The bathroom is located close-by and is an impressive tiled space, with a bath that is perfect for enjoying a relaxing soak, after a day of hiking the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. Towards the back of the property, you will find an additional shower room, along with a utility room that is served by a washing machine, for extra convenience. Enjoy dining alfresco on the patio as you gaze at the rolling hills surrounding the cottage.! The village of Buckden is home to a village supermarket and the popular Buck Inn, meaning everything you need is at your convenience. Spend the day exploring Buckden’s National Trust properties, Townhead Barn and The Old Smithy, or embark on a hike up Buckden Pike. Walkers will be especially pleased with the property’s location, with The Dales Way trail on your doorstep, and the hiking trail up Birks Fell situated behind the dwelling. Be sure to travel to Grassington and learn of the town’s history at the Grassington Folk Museum, explore St Michael & All Angels Church, before wandering further afield to the mystical Linton Falls. Hawes is a fantastic day out and is home to the historic Gayle Mill, Dales Countryside Museum and ample galleries for you to tour. Travel a little further to Skipton where you can view the well-preserved Skipton Castle, savour a picnic at Aireville Park or browse the local produce and delicacies at the popular Skipton Market.
